As discussed during the event, this proposal would go against the logic of contributing to the Decidim project from Switzerland and more broadly against the purpose of creating the swiss local chapter.

Technically, forking a repository means "detaching it" from it's source. Maintenance would then be the sole responsability of the swiss community, and the swiss community would not benefit anymore from latest updates of the decidim project.
