21/09/2026_The Swiss Local Chapter at Decidim Fest in Barcelona

The Swiss Local Chapter board will be happy to join the global community of Decidim users at the next Decidim Fest. The event will take place in Barcelona on 28, 29 and 30 October 2026 with the slogan “Democracy and technology in a multipolar world”.

Decidim Fest 2026 aims to be a space to analyse these challenges and, above all, to imagine and articulate democratic alternatives in the digital age. We will bring together the international Decidim community, representatives of public institutions, researchers, activists, developers and organisations from around the world to share experiences, discuss strategies and build alliances that strengthen digital commons and democracy.

23/06/2026 _The Decidim Swiss Local Chapter Is Born

Something significant for Decidim happened in Bern some weeks ago. In the heart of the Swiss capital, a group of Decidim service providers,city representatives, civic tech advocates and researchers, gathered with a shared purpose: to officially bring the Decidim Swiss Local Chapter into existence by signing up the agreement.

The Swiss Local Chapter is not just a milestone for Switzerland. It is the first Local Chapter ever created within the global Decidim ecosystem.
